Eunyoung Lee is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She began her nursing career in South Korea for several years and earned her Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas A&M International University. Currently, she is studying in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston for preparing advanced practice nurses at the highest level of nursing practice and to advance the application of nursing knowledge.
As a registered nurse, she has had various nursing experiences ranging from emergency room units to rehabilitation units. Besides, she has unique experiences as a nursing educator/manager in a U.S. Military Base, Afghanistan, for delivering advanced health care to local Afghani patients and medical professionals through international development projects for two years in the past. As a nurse practitioner, she started to work in an internal medicine clinic in Carrollton, TX. She was dedicated to providing wellness, preventive care, acute and chronic illness for the adult and geriatric population in a culturally sensitive manner. Since she moved to Houston in December 2019, she joined Family Medicine Specialist clinic as a provider. She is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan, especially the geriatric population. She focuses on managing the patient’s comprehensive care, counseling, and educating patients on prevention and health promotion.
Eunyoung is multilingual in English and Korean. She is passionate and dedicated to serving the local community with the best and utmost excellent healthcare. She is an active member of AANP, Texas Nurse Practitioner (TNP), and Houston Korean Nurse Association (HKNA).
